Eligibility Criteria of AEGCL Recruitment
Residentship
The candidate must be an Indian citizen and a permanent resident of Assam.
PRC/Employment Exchange Certificate: Candidate must produce PRC issued in Assam for educational purposes or Employment Exchange Registration Certificate as proof of residency.
Local Language Proficiency
Applicants should have proficiency in Assamese or any local language of Assam.
Age Limit
As on 1st January 2024:
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 38 years
Age Relaxation:
- SC/STP/STH: 5 years
- OBC/MOBC: 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Arts, Science, or Commerce from a recognized university with minimum 55% marks.
- For B.Com candidates: 55% aggregate or 55% in Honors/Major subject.
- For Arts/Science graduates: 55% aggregate with Mathematics or Statistics as one subject.
- For SC/ST candidates and departmental candidates: minimum 50% marks.
Computer Proficiency
Candidates should have proficiency in computer applications with a diploma certificate in computer application (minimum 3 months duration).
Other Requirements
- Must be registered in any Employment Exchange of Assam.
- Declaration of “Small Family Norms” in Form-A at the time of application.
