The Indian Navy has released an official notification for the recruitment of Agniveer (MR – Matric Recruit) posts for the 01/2027 and 02/2027 Batch under the Agnipath Scheme. Interested and eligible unmarried male and female candidates may apply online through the official website.

Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
Agniveer 01/2027 Batch
- Candidate should be born between 01 December 2004 to 31 May 2009 (Both dates inclusive).
Agniveer 02/2027 Batch
- Candidate should be born between 01 May 2005 to 31 October 2009 (Both dates inclusive).
Marital Status
- Only unmarried male and female candidates are eligible.
- Candidates must provide an unmarried certificate at the time of enrollment.
- Agniveers are not permitted to marry during the four-year service period.
- If a candidate marries during service, he/she will be dismissed from the Navy.
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have passed Matriculation (Class 10) with minimum 50% aggregate marks.
- The board must be recognized by the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
- Candidates appearing in Class 10 board exam 2025-26 are also eligible to apply.

Recruitment Medical Examination
Candidates who qualify the Physical Fitness Test will undergo a Recruitment Medical Examination. Candidates found medically unfit may appeal within 21 days at designated military hospitals.
Merit List
The final merit list will be prepared based on the candidate’s performance in the Stage-II written examination, subject to qualifying the PFT and medical examination. The merit list will be published on the official Indian Navy recruitment website.
