IBPS PO Selection Process

The IBPS PO/MT recruitment process includes two online exams:

1. Preliminary Examination

This exam will be conducted online and consists of the following sections:

English Language: 30 questions (30 marks) – Duration: 20 minutes
Quantitative Aptitude: 35 questions (35 marks) – Duration: 20 minutes
Reasoning Ability: 35 questions (35 marks) – Duration: 20 minutes

Total: 100 marks (60 minutes)

2. Main Examination

Candidates who qualify the Preliminary Examination will appear for the Main Exam, consisting of 5 sections:

General/ Economy/ Banking Awareness: 40 questions (40 marks) – Duration: 35 minutes

Data Analysis & Interpretation: 35 questions (60 marks) – Duration: 45 minutes
English Language (Letter Writing & Essay): 2 questions (25 marks) – Duration: 30 minutes

Total: 157 questions (225 marks) – Duration: 210 minutes
