SBI CBO Exam Pattern 2026


The online examination consists of objective type questions and a descriptive test. The detailed exam pattern is given below:

Descriptive Test

Negative Marking

There is no negative marking for incorrect answers in the objective test.

Screening Process

After the online examination, shortlisted candidates will go through a screening process. The screening committee will verify candidates' work experience and job profile submitted during application.

If the candidate’s experience does not substantially match the role of a Scale-I Generalist Officer in SBI, the application may be rejected. The decision of the bank will be final.

SBI CBO Interview

The interview stage carries 50 marks. Candidates must secure the minimum qualifying marks decided by the bank to move forward in the selection process.

Final Selection Process

To be selected as a Circle Based Officer, candidates must qualify in both:

  • Online Examination
  • Interview

The final merit list will be prepared using the following weightage:

  • Online Test: 75% weightage
  • Interview: 25% weightage

The combined score out of 100 will determine the final merit list prepared Circle-wise and Category-wise.


Local Language Proficiency Test


Candidates provisionally selected must pass a Local Language Proficiency Test before joining.

However, candidates who studied the specified local language in Class 10 or Class 12 are exempted from this test.

SSC MTS Admit Card 2026 – Download MTS & Havaldar Exam Call Letter

SSC MTS Admit Card Release Date


The Staff Selection Commission will release the SSC MTS Admit Card four days before the candidate’s examination date. Before issuing the admit card, SSC will activate the Exam City and Exam Date Intimation Slip.

Selection Process of Gauhati High Court JAA Recruitment 2026


The selection process consists of three stages conducted district-wise.


Stage I – Written Examination

  • Type: OMR Based Objective Test
  • Duration: 2 Hours
