Eligibility Criteria

1. Nationality

The candidate must be a citizen of India.

2. Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 21 years

• Maximum Age: 30 years (as on 01 July 2025)

• Candidate must have been born between 02 July 1995 and 01 July 2004.

Age Relaxations:

• SC/ST – 5 years

• OBC – 3 years

• Ex-Servicemen – 3 years after deduction of military service

• Departmental candidates of Delhi Police – up to 40–45 years (depending on category)

3. Educational Qualification

• Must have passed 10+2 (Senior Secondary) or equivalent from a recognized Board.

• Should possess valid driving license for Heavy Motor Vehicles (HMV).

• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance is essential.

4. Physical Standards

• Height: Minimum 170 cm (relaxable by 5 cm for certain categories)

• Chest: 81 cm (minimum) with expansion up to 85 cm (relaxable by 5 cm for certain categories)

Selection Process

The selection will be conducted in multiple stages:

1. Computer Based Examination (CBE):

   • Objective type, 100 questions, 100 marks, 90 minutes.

   • Subjects include:

     • General Awareness (20 questions)

     • General Intelligence (20 questions)

     • Numerical Ability (10 questions)

     • Road Sense, Vehicle Maintenance, Traffic Rules & Pollution (50 questions)

   • Negative marking: 0.25 mark per wrong answer.

2. Physical Endurance & Measurement Test (PE&MT):

   • Race (1600 metres):

     • Up to 30 years – 7 minutes

     • 30–40 years – 8 minutes

     • Above 40 years – 9 minutes

   • Long Jump & High Jump (as per age criteria).

3. Trade Test (Driving Skills):

   • Driving of Light & Heavy Motor Vehicles.

   • Knowledge of traffic rules, road sense, and vehicle maintenance.

   • Minimum qualifying marks required.

4. Medical Examination:

• Eyesight: 6/6 in better eye, 6/12 in worse eye without glasses.

• Must be free from color blindness.
