The Government of Assam has officially released the Assam Government Holiday List 2026. The holiday list is issued every year by the General Administration Department (GAD), Govt. of Assam for all state government offices and institutions.
As per the official notification, the holiday list for the year 2026 was published on 17th November 2025 from Dispur. On these declared dates, all Assam Government offices, departments, and institutions will remain closed.

Assam State Government employees may avail any two (2) days from the Restricted Holiday (RH) list as per government rules.
