Eligibility Criteria of OBC Scholarship
In this OBC Scholarship Scheme, two types of categories are eligible to submit their applications. These two categories are Pre-Matric and Post-Matric. For both categories, eligibility criteria are different. The category wise eligibility criteria details are as follows.
Pre-Matric Scholarship: Students who are studying in class 10th or below will come under this category. That is, students studying from class 1 to class 10 have to submit their application under the Pre-Matric Scholarship category.
Post-Matric Scholarship: Students who are studying 11th or above, have to apply under Post Matric Scholarship category. In other words, students who are studying in Higher Secondary, Graduation, Post-Graduation etc. have to apply under this category.
Note: Only those students who have an OBC certificate are eligible for this scholarship scheme. Without a valid caste certificate, the application will be rejected.

Required Documents for Application
Before proceeding with the application process for the OBC scholarship students need to prepare the following documents. The following documents are mandatory to complete the application process so all students should ensure their availability.
1 Bank Passbook
2 Cast Certificate (OBC)
3 Income Certificate
4 Aadhaar Card/ Bonafide Certificate
Note: Students who do not have an Aadhaar card will have to produce a Bonafide certificate. The bonafide certificate will be generated automatically after you register for the scholarship in NSP. Students have to download that system-generated format and get it signed by their Heads of Institutions. Also, you may need to attach a passport size photograph in that certificate format before it is signed by the head of the institution.
