Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
Candidates born between 01 January 2005 and 01 July 2009 (both dates inclusive) are eligible. Maximum age at enrollment should not exceed 21 years.
Educational Qualification
Science Subjects
- 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics & English with minimum 50% marks overall and 50% in English, OR
- 3 Years Diploma in Engineering (relevant branches), OR
- 2 Years Vocational Course with Physics & Mathematics
Other Than Science Subjects
- 10+2 in any stream with 50% aggregate and 50% in English, OR
- 2 Years Vocational Course from a recognized board
Medical Standards for Agniveer Vayu
Height
- Male & Female: 152 cm
- North East / Hilly Regions: 147 cm
- Lakshadweep: 150 cm
Chest
- Male: Minimum 77 cm with 5 cm expansion
- Female: Minimum expansion of 5 cm
Other Medical Requirements
- Weight proportionate to height and age
- Normal hearing ability
- Minimum 14 dental points
- No major medical or surgical illness
- Pregnant candidates will be disqualified
Body Tattoo Policy
Permanent tattoos are allowed only on permitted body parts as per guidelines. Final decision will be taken by the Selection Centre.
