Indian Air Force Agniveervayu Recruitment 2026 – Apply Online for Agniveervayu Intake 02/2027






The Indian Air Force (IAF) has invited online applications for Agniveervayu Intake 02/2027 under the Agnipath Scheme. Unmarried male and female candidates who meet the required educational and physical eligibility criteria can submit their applications from 6 July 2026 to 26 July 2026. The online examination is scheduled to be held on 22 and 23 September 2026.

Educational Qualification

  • Science Subjects: Candidates should have passed 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics and English with the required aggregate marks OR a three-year Diploma in Engineering in the relevant stream OR a two-year Vocational Course with Physics and Mathematics.
  • Other Than Science Subjects: Candidates should have passed 10+2 in any stream with the required marks OR a two-year Vocational Course from a recognized board.

Physical Eligibility

  • Candidates should meet the prescribed height, chest and medical standards.
  • Vision should be as per Indian Air Force medical standards.
  • LASIK or PRK surgery is not permitted.
  • Weight should be proportionate to height and age.

Selection Process

The recruitment process consists of three stages.

Phase-I: Online Examination

Marking Scheme:

  • +1 mark for every correct answer.
  • No marks deducted for unanswered questions.
  • 0.25 marks deducted for each incorrect answer.
  • Marks are normalized before preparing the merit list.

Phase-II: Physical Fitness Test (PFT)

  • 1.6 km Run:
    • Male: Within 7 minutes
    • Female: Within 8 minutes

  • Sit-ups
  • Squats
  • Adaptability Test-I
  • Adaptability Test-II

Phase-III: Medical Examination

Candidates qualifying Phase-II will undergo a detailed medical examination conducted by the Indian Air Force Medical Team. Medical tests include blood test, urine test, chest X-ray, ECG and other examinations as per IAF standards. Candidates declared medically unfit may apply for an Appeal Medical Board within the prescribed period after paying the required fee.

  2. Complete the registration using a valid mobile number and email ID.
  3. Verify the OTP sent to your mobile and email.
  4. Log in using the generated User ID and Password.
  5. Fill in your personal, communication and educational details.
  6. Upload the required documents including photograph, signature and thumb impression.
  7. Complete the live photograph verification.
  8. Preview the application carefully.
  9. Pay the application fee of ₹550 + 18% GST.
  10. Submit the application and print the confirmation page for future reference.
