SSC MTS 2025 Notification: Apply for Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff & Havaldar Posts
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially announced the Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff (MTS) and Havaldar Recruitment 2025. Vacancy Details
This recruitment will fill the following positions:
- MTS (Non-Technical): Vacancies will be updated shortly on the SSC website.
- Havaldar in CBIC & CBN: 1075 posts available.

Eligibility Criteria
To apply for these posts, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:
Educational Qualification:
- Candidates should have passed the Matriculation Examination or equivalent from a recognized board as of 01 August 2025.
Age Limit:
- MTS: 18 to 25 years (Born between 02-08-2000 and 01-08-2007)
- Havaldar: 18 to 27 years (Born between 02-08-1998 and 01-08-2007)
Age relaxation for SC/ST, OBC, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen candidates as per government norms.
Application Fee
- General/OBC/EWS: ₹100
- Women/SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen: Exempted from payment
How to Apply
- Visit the official SSC website: ssc.gov.in
- Complete the One-Time Registration (OTR) process if you haven't already.
- Fill in the application form for SSC MTS 2025.
- Upload the required documents (photo, signature, etc.).
- Pay the application fee online.
- Submit the application and take a printout for your reference.
Selection Process
The selection process consists of the following stages:
- Computer-Based Examination (CBE): For MTS posts, and for Havaldar, both CBE and Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/Physical Standard Test (PST).
- Document Verification: After qualifying the exam, candidates must produce all necessary documents.
For candidates with benchmark disabilities (PwBD), facilities like a scribe will be provided upon request.
Examination Scheme
The Computer-Based Examination will be conducted in two sessions:
- Session 1:
- Numerical and Mathematical Ability (20 questions, 60 marks)
- Reasoning Ability and Problem Solving (20 questions, 60 marks)
- Session 2:
- General Awareness (25 questions, 75 marks)
- English Language and Comprehension (25 questions, 75 marks)
Physical Standard Test (PST)/Physical Efficiency Test (PET) for Havaldar
Male Candidates:
- Height: 157.5 cm (relaxable for specific categories)
- Chest: 81 cm (expandable by 5 cm)
- Walking: 1600 meters in 15 minutes.
Female Candidates:
- Height: 152 cm (relaxable for specific categories)
- Weight: 48 kg (relaxable by 2 kg)
- Walking: 1 km in 20 minutes.
Document Verification (DV)
After passing the examination, candidates must undergo document verification where they’ll need to submit their original certificates such as:
- Matriculation Certificate
- Caste/Category Certificate (if applicable)
- Disability Certificate (if applicable)
- Ex-Servicemen Certificate (if applicable)
Admit Card and Examination Centers
Admit cards will be available for download on the SSC website around 10 days before the exam date. Candidates can also check their examination centers on the same website.
