The National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) is a flagship initiative of the Government of India, designed to support academically bright students from economically weaker backgrounds. Eligibility Criteria

- Students from Kendriya Vidyalaya, JNV, private, or residential schools are not eligible

- Minimum qualifying marks: 40% (32% for SC/ST)

- Visit the National Scholarship Portal (NSP)
- Register as a new user (One-Time Registration)
- Login and select “NMMS” scholarship scheme
- Fill the application form and upload documents
- Submit the form and take a printout for future reference
