Canara Bank, one of India’s leading public sector banks with its head office in Bengaluru, has released the official notification for the Engagement of Graduate Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for the financial year 2025–26. A total of 3500 apprenticeship seats are available across different states and union territories.
Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official website of Canara Bank. Before applying, candidates must complete their registration on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal www.nats.education.gov.in.

Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit (as on 01.09.2025)
- Minimum Age: 20 years
- Maximum Age: 28 years
- Age Relaxation: SC/ST – 5 years, OBC – 3 years, PwBD – 10 years
Educational Qualification
- A Graduation Degree in any discipline from a recognized University/Institution.
- Graduates must have completed their degree between 01.01.2022 and 01.09.2025.
Language Proficiency
- Candidates should be proficient in the local language of the state they are applying for.
- Those who studied the local language at 10th/12th level are exempted from the language test.
Stipend
Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of ₹15,000, out of which:
- ₹10,500 will be paid by Canara Bank
- ₹4,500 will be credited directly by the Government of India through DBT
Selection Process
The selection will be done on the basis of:
- Merit list prepared from marks obtained in 12th / Diploma.
- Test of local language (if applicable).
- Medical fitness and document verification.
Minimum qualifying marks: 60% (55% for SC/ST/PwBD).

- All Others: ₹500
