The Office of the Commissioner, Panchayat & Rural Development (PNRD), Assam has released an official recruitment notification for 1508 contractual vacancies under MGNREGA, PMAY-G and Finance Commission schemes. Eligible candidates can apply online within the prescribed dates.
PNRD Assam Vacancy Details 2026
1. Accredited Engineer (MGNREGA)
- No. of Posts: 291
- Monthly Remuneration: ₹18,000
- Age Limit: 18 to 40 years
- Qualification:
- Diploma in Civil Engineering
- Diploma in Computer Application
- Knowledge of Mobile Applications
2. Gram Rozgar Sahayak (MGNREGA)
- No. of Posts: 464
- Monthly Remuneration: ₹15,000
- Age Limit: 18 to 40 years
- Qualification:
- Graduate in any discipline with minimum 50% marks
- Distance education degree approved by UGC/DEC/AICTE is valid
- Diploma in Computer Application (minimum 6 months)
- Knowledge of Mobile Applications
3. Computer Assistant (MGNREGA)
- No. of Posts: 291
- Monthly Remuneration: ₹15,000
- Age Limit: 18 to 40 years
- Qualification:
- Graduate in any discipline with minimum 50% marks
- Diploma in Computer Application (minimum 6 months)
- Knowledge of Mobile Applications
4. Gram Panchayat Coordinator (PMAY-G / Finance Commission)
- No. of Posts: 462
- Monthly Remuneration: ₹15,000
- Age Limit: 18 to 40 years
- Qualification:
- Graduate in any discipline with minimum 50% marks
- Diploma in Computer Application (minimum 6 months)
- Knowledge of Mobile Applications
Age Relaxation
- SC / ST: 5 years
- OBC / MOBC: 3 years
- PwBD (UR): 10 years
Citizenship
Applicants must be Indian citizens as per Articles 5 to 9 of the Constitution of India.

- Written Examination (OMR based)

- Paper-II: Accredited Engineer
Exam Pattern:
- Total Marks: 75
- Total Questions: 75
- Duration: 2 Hours
- Negative Marking applicable
Subjects: Domain Knowledge, Computer Proficiency, Reasoning, GK, History & Culture of Assam & India (Technical for Engineers).
Viva Voce: 25 marks for qualified candidates.
