Eligibility Criteria for NORCET 9

Educational Qualification (Any One of the Following):

Category I:

• B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council recognized Institute or University.
• OR B.Sc. (Post-Certificate)/Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council recognized Institute or University.
• Registered as Nurse & Midwife with State/Indian Nursing Council.

Category II:

• Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery from an Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council recognized Institute/Board/Council.
• Registered as Nurse & Midwife with State/Indian Nursing Council.
• Minimum two years’ experience in a hospital with at least 50 beds after completing the diploma.

Age Limit (As on last date of application):

• General: 18 to 30 years
• Age Relaxation: As per rules of respective institutes/hospitals

Application Fees

• General/OBC: ₹3000/-
• SC/ST/EWS: ₹2400/-
• PwD (Persons with Disabilities): Exempted
