Vacancy Details
- Tax Assistant – 1 post (Level-4 in Pay Matrix Rs. 25,500 – 81,100)
- Havaldar – 10 posts (Level-1 in Pay Matrix Rs. 18,000 – 56,900)
Eligibility Criteria
Nationality
The candidate must be a citizen of India.
Age Limit
18 to 27 years as on 13 September 2025. Relaxation up to 5 years (OBC) and 10 years (SC/ST) is applicable as per government rules.
Educational Qualification
- Tax Assistant: Graduate in any discipline with computer knowledge and a minimum data entry speed of 8000 key depressions per hour.
- Havaldar: Matriculation or equivalent. Must meet prescribed physical standards and clear physical efficiency tests.
Sports Eligibility
Candidates should have represented in recognized tournaments/events during the years 2020–2025. Preference will be given in the following order:
- Represented India in International competitions.
- Represented State/UT at National level and won medals.
- Represented University in Inter-University competitions or Khelo India Games.
- Represented State Schools in National School Games and won medals.
Physical Standards for Havaldar
- Male: Height 157.5 cm (relaxable by 5 cm for certain categories), Chest 81 cm with 5 cm expansion. Must walk 1600 meters in 15 minutes.
- Female: Height 152 cm, Weight 48 kg (relaxable for certain categories). Must walk 1 km in 20 minutes.

Recruitment will be conducted for 65 disciplines including Athletics, Archery, Badminton, Basketball, Boxing, Cricket, Football, Hockey, Swimming, Volleyball, Wrestling, Weightlifting, and many more as notified by DoP&T.
Selection Process
- Scrutiny of Applications: Shortlisting based on eligibility and sports achievements.
- Field Trials: Sports performance and fitness will be tested.
- Data Entry Speed Test: For Tax Assistant candidates.
- Physical Standard & Efficiency Test: For Havaldar candidates.
- Document Verification & Medical Examination.
