State Level Recruitment Commissions (SLRC) of Govt. of Assam has released Grade III & Grade IV job advertisements for recruitment of 26441 Vacancies under the various departments of Assam Govt. This SLRC commission has been formed to fulfill the guarantee of 1 lakh jobs provided by the current Chief Minister of Assam. Candidates may apply online through www.assam.gov.in or www.sebaonline.org. These vacancies will be filled up by the rules governed by the newly constituted Assam Direct Recruitment Commission for Analogous Posts in Class III and Class IV Act 2021 and Assam Direct Recruitment for Class III and Class IV Analogous Posts Rules 2022.
Candidates who have applied earlier for various posts in the Class III category & Driver category in the department of Elementary Education, Secondary Education & Technical Education, but NOT applied for the posts advertised by "State Level Recruitment Commission for Class III Posts" can now login to the Online Portal, made live by the "State Level Recruitment Commission for Class III Posts" and provide the additional information sought by the Commission.
The portal will remain open from 15/07/2022 till 25/07/2022 up to 5 PM .

The category-wise eligibility criteria has been mentioned below-
Maximum Qualification: The maximum allowed educational qualification for Class-IV posts is HSSLC or class 12th or equivalent examination passed. Candidates having qualification higher than maximum qualification are not eligible to apply for these vacancy.
Grade III (Category I)
Name of posts: Accountant, Cashier, Junior Assistant, LDA, Stenographer, etc.
No of posts: 8,331 posts
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Bachelor’s Degree with Computer Certificate/ Diploma of minimum 6 months duration.
Grade III (Category II)
Name of posts: Field Assistant, Fieldman, Foreman, Section Assistant, Soil Conservation Field Worker Junior, Agriculture Extension Officer, etc.
No of posts: 3,690 posts
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed HSSLC or class 12th or equivalent examinations. (Some specific posts need candidates to be class 12th passed from science stream.)
Grade III (Category III)
Name of Post: Driver
No of posts: 1,120 posts
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed HSLC or equivalent examination.
Other Criteria of Assam Direct Recruitment
Age Limit: The Candidate should not be less than 18 years and not more than 40 years as on 1st January 2022.
Age Relaxation: The category-wise upper age relaxation is as mentioned below.
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC/MOBC: 3 years
- Ex-Servicemen: 2 years
- PwD: 10 years
Citizenship: Candidates must be a citizen of India.
Employment Exchange Registration: Candidates must have register their name in any one of the employment exchanges of Assam.
Relaxation in Computer Proficiency: Applicants possessing a Degree in Computer Science, i.e. BCA/ MCA/ B.Tech/ B.E. and others are not required to furnish a Computer Certificate/ Diploma of a minimum 6(six) months duration.

All the applicants have to pay a nominal fee as an application fee. The fee can be paid online using various below-mentioned methods. The category-wise application fee is as mentioned below.
