ASDMA Recruitment 2025 – Apply for Procurement Officer Post (Contractual)





The Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA) has issued an official notification for the recruitment of a Procurement Officer under the Assam Integrated River Basin Management Project (AIRBMP), supported by the World Bank. Applications are invited from eligible candidates for this contractual position.

Eligibility Criteria


Essential Qualification:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferably Civil) OR
  • Master’s Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Law, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Commerce, Planning & Development, or related disciplines from a recognized university.

Preferred Qualification:

  • Advanced academic/professional training in procurement will be an added advantage.

Experience:


  • Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement in government projects or reputed private organizations.
  • Experience with World Bank/ADB/JICA/NDB procurement procedures preferred.

Job Responsibilities


  • Prepare and update procurement plans using World Bank’s STEP platform.
  • Develop/update PPSD and conduct market research.
  • Draft procurement documents – IFB, REOI, RFP, etc.
  • Conduct evaluations, assist with negotiations, and prepare draft contracts.
  • Ensure contract management, procurement compliance, and training.
  • Maintain records, prepare reports, and respond to procurement complaints.

Salary


Monthly Remuneration: ₹80,000 – ₹1,10,000 (inclusive of all taxes)
Other benefits like increment, leave, etc., will be admissible as per ASDMA HR Policy.


Selection Process


  • Written Test / Interview (date to be notified later).
  • 10-minute presentation on a past procurement case study is mandatory.
  • Bring the presentation in a pen-drive on the interview day.
