1. Executive Branch
- General Service (GS(X)) / Hydro Cadre: BE/B.Tech in any discipline with 60% marks
- Pilot / Naval Air Operations Officer / ATC: BE/B.Tech in any discipline with 60% marks (and 60% marks in English in 10th/12th)
- Logistics: BE/B.Tech or MBA or BSc/BCom with PG Diploma or MCA/MSc IT (First Class)
- Law: LLB with 55% marks (Bar Council recognized)
2. Education Branch
- Subjects: MSc in Maths, Physics, Meteorology, Oceanology, etc. or BE/BTech/MTech in relevant fields
- Note: 60% in 10th, 12th & English required
3. Technical Branch
- Engineering Branch (GS): BE/B.Tech in Mechanical, Aerospace, Mechatronics, etc.
- Electrical Branch (GS): BE/B.Tech in EEE, ECE, Power, Electronics, etc.
