Indian Navy SSR Recruitment 2026 – Apply Online for Agniveer SSR Posts




The Indian Navy has released an official recruitment notification for the recruitment of Agniveer (SSR – Senior Secondary Recruit) posts under the Agnipath Scheme for 01/2027 and 02/2027 batch. Interested and eligible unmarried male and female candidates may apply online through the official website.

Selected candidates will work in a highly technical environment and may serve on modern naval platforms such as aircraft carriers, guided missile destroyers, frigates, submarines and naval aircraft.

Eligibility Criteria of Indian Navy SSR Recruitment

Age Limit

Agniveer 01/2027 Batch: Candidate should be born between 01 December 2004 to 31 May 2009 (both dates inclusive).

Agniveer 02/2027 Batch: Candidate should be born between 01 May 2005 to 31 October 2009 (both dates inclusive).

Marital Status

Only unmarried male and female candidates are eligible. Selected candidates will not be allowed to marry during the four years of service.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must fulfill any one of the following conditions:

  • Passed 10+2 with Mathematics and Physics from a recognized board with at least 50% aggregate marks.
  • Completed a 3-year Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Automobile / Computer Science / Instrumentation Technology / IT) with 50% marks.
  • Passed a 2-year Vocational Course with Physics and Mathematics as non-vocational subjects with 50% marks.

Selection Process


The selection process for Indian Navy Agniveer SSR includes two stages:

  • Stage I – INET (Computer Based Test)
  • Stage II – Written Exam, Physical Fitness Test (PFT) & Medical Examination

Medical Examination

The final merit list will be prepared based on performance in the Stage II written examination, subject to qualification in PFT and Medical Examination. Merit will be prepared state-wise.

Indian Navy MR Recruitment 2026 – Apply Online for Agniveer MR Posts
