Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government of India.

Selection Process

The recruitment process consists of the following stages:

  1. Preliminary Examination
  2. Main Examination
  3. Personality Test
  4. Interview
  5. Document Verification
  6. Final Provisional Allotment

Preliminary Examination

The Preliminary Examination is qualifying in nature and consists of 100 objective-type questions carrying 100 marks. The exam includes English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability with sectional timing of 20 minutes each. There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer. Marks obtained in the preliminary exam are not considered for the final merit list.

Main Examination

The Main Examination includes an objective paper of 170 questions for 200 marks along with a Descriptive Test of 25 marks. The descriptive paper evaluates English writing skills through essay and letter writing. Only candidates qualifying the objective test will have their descriptive paper evaluated.

Personality Test & Interview

Shortlisted candidates will appear for a Personality Test followed by a personal Interview. The Interview carries 100 marks. The minimum qualifying marks are:

  • General Category: 40%
  • SC/ST/OBC/PwBD: 35%

The final merit list will be prepared by giving 80% weightage to the Main Examination and 20% weightage to the Interview.
