Eligibility Criteria for IBPS RRB 2025
Nationality
- A citizen of India
- A subject of Nepal/Bhutan
- A Tibetan refugee (arrived before 1st Jan 1962)
- A person of Indian origin from specified countries with a certificate of eligibility from the Government of India
Language Proficiency
Candidates applying for Office Assistant must have proficiency in the local language of the state/UT of the RRB.
Age Limit (As on 01.09.2025)
- Office Assistant: 18–28 years
- Officer Scale-I: 18–30 years
- Officer Scale-II: 21–32 years
- Officer Scale-III: 21–40 years
Age Relaxation
- OBC/MOBC – 3 years
- SC/ST – 5 years
- PWD – 10 years
Educational Qualification
- Office Assistant: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. Computer knowledge desirable.
- Officer Scale-I: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. Preference for Agriculture, IT, Management, Law, Finance, etc.
- Officer Scale-II: Graduation with 50% marks; relevant specialization and experience depending on post.
- Officer Scale-III: Graduation with 50% marks; minimum 5 years banking experience preferred.
