Eligibility Criteria for DEE Assam Recruitment 2025

Educational Qualification:

The required academic and professional qualifications for eligibility will be as per NCTE norms and the existing government rules and conditions.

Current Employment Status:

The candidate, as on 30th September 2025, must be working as Contractual and State Pool Teachers under Samagra Shiksha Assam (SSA).

Teaching Experience:

The applicant must have completed a minimum of 3 years of continuous service as of 30th September 2025 as a Contractual or State Pool Teacher under SSA.

Age Limit:

The Directorate of Elementary Education (DEE), Assam has released important guidelines regarding the DEE LP UP Provisional Merit List 2025. Candidates are advised to carefully go through the instructions mentioned below:

• The Provisional Merit List has been prepared based on the details and documents submitted by applicants during the online application process and physical document verification.

• If any discrepancy or mismatch is found in the submitted documents, the candidature will be cancelled.

• Inclusion of a candidate’s name in the Provisional Merit List does not guarantee appointment. Selection will be finalized only after the publication of the Final Select List.

• Appointment letters will be issued solely to the candidates whose names appear in the Final Select List.

• All uploaded certificates and documents will undergo Back-Office Verification from respective Boards/ Councils/ Universities/ Authorities to ensure authenticity.

• Any negative report from the verification authorities will result in cancellation or termination of candidature.

• The current Provisional Merit List will automatically stand cancelled once the next Provisional Merit List or the Final Select List is released.

• For genuine grievances, candidates can approach the office of the DEE, Assam with proper supporting documents as per the schedule given below.
