Eligiblity Criteria of Indian Army Agniveer Women Recruitment
Age Limit: The age of the candidate should not be less than 17 years 6 months and not more than 21 years. Candidate born between 01 Oct 2004 to 01 April 2008 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply.
Age Relaxation: Upper Age limit will be relaxable upto 30 yrs of age (as on date of joining training) in respect of widows of Defence personnel who have died in harness.
Educational Qualification: Candidate must be Class 10th /Matric pass with 45% marks in aggregate of five basic subjects and min 33% marks in each of those five subjects. For boards following grading system, grades commensurate to percentages, as Above, will be considered.
For Indian Gorkha women, the educational qualification is Class 10th simple pass.
Other Criteria: Candidates with valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) Driving License will be given preference for Driver requirements.
Widow Women: Women who are widowed, divorced or legally separated are also eligible provided they do not have any children subject to fulfilling all other eligibility criteria.
Physical Standards:
(a) Height: 162 cms.
(b) Weight: Proportionate to height and age as per Army Medical standards.
(c) Chest Expansion: The candidates should be capable of chest expansion of 05 cms.
Special Physical Standards: Candidates belonging to following regions will be given 4 cms height relaxation:
(a) North East Region: Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya and Assam.
(b) Gorkhas.
(c) Garhwalis.
(d) Ladakhis.
(e) Tribals of recognized tribal areas.
Examination Fee: Candidates need to pay an application fee of ₹250 (Rupees Two Hundred Fifty only). The payment can be made through Internet banking, UPI, Payment Gateway Facility through Maestro, Master Card, VISA, Rupay Cards both Credit & Debit of all major Banks
