The Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) has announced the Assam Combined Entrance Examination (CEE) 2026 for admission into B.Tech courses in engineering colleges across Assam. About Assam CEE 2026


The Combined Entrance Examination (CEE) is a state-level entrance test conducted by ASTU for admission into various engineering colleges in Assam. Students who successfully qualify in this examination can apply for admission to different branches of engineering through the counselling process conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Assam.

The examination will be conducted in offline mode using an OMR answer sheet. Candidates must carefully fill their answers using a black ballpoint pen.

Eligibility Criteria for Assam CEE 2026

Citizenship

The candidate must be an Indian citizen.

Domicile

The applicant must be a permanent resident of Assam and possess a valid Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC). Children of Central Government employees posted in Assam may apply under the CGE quota.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have passed or be appearing in the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

Minimum Marks

  • General Category: 45% aggregate marks in PCM subjects
  • OBC/MOBC/SC/ST Categories: 40% aggregate marks

Diploma Holders

Candidates with a 3-year Diploma in Engineering and Technology from the State Council for Technical Education, Assam, with the required marks are also eligible.

Ranking Method


The rank list for CEE 2026 will be prepared based on the total marks obtained in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. In case of a tie, the following criteria will be applied:

  3. Higher marks in Chemistry
  4. Date of Birth (older candidate gets preference)
  5. Alphabetical order of candidate's name

SBI CBO Admit Card 2026 – Download Circle Based Officer Exam Hall Ticket

 



The State Bank of India (SBI) has officially released the SBI CBO Admit Card 2026 for the recruitment of Circle Based Officer (CBO) posts. Candidates who successfully submitted their applications can now download their call letter for the online examination scheduled on 14 March 2026.

SBI CBO Exam Pattern 2026


The online examination consists of objective type questions and a descriptive test. The detailed exam pattern is given below:

Screening Process

If the candidate’s experience does not substantially match the role of a Scale-I Generalist Officer in SBI, the application may be rejected. The decision of the bank will be final.

SBI CBO Interview

The interview stage carries 50 marks. Candidates must secure the minimum qualifying marks decided by the bank to move forward in the selection process.

Final Selection Process

To be selected as a Circle Based Officer, candidates must qualify in both:

  • Online Examination
  • Interview

The final merit list will be prepared using the following weightage:

  • Online Test: 75% weightage
  • Interview: 25% weightage

The combined score out of 100 will determine the final merit list prepared Circle-wise and Category-wise.


Local Language Proficiency Test


Candidates provisionally selected must pass a Local Language Proficiency Test before joining.

However, candidates who studied the specified local language in Class 10 or Class 12 are exempted from this test.

The National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) 2026 is a national-level entrance examination conducted for admission to the 5-Year Integrated MSc programs offered by National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar and UM–DAE Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (CEBS), Mumbai.

NEST 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

There is no age limit for appearing in the NEST 2026 examination.

Educational Qualification

  • Candidates must have passed Class XII from any recognised board in India in 2024 or 2025 or should be appearing in 2026.
  • Candidates must have studied at least three subjects among Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics in Classes XI and XII.

Minimum Marks

  • General/OBC: Minimum 60% aggregate in Class XII.
  • SC/ST/PwD: Minimum 55% aggregate in Class XII.

The Directorate of Elementary Education (DEE), Assam has officially released the 2nd Provisional Merit List 2026 for the recruitment of 4500 Assistant Teacher posts in Lower Primary (LP) and Upper Primary (UP) schools across Assam.

RBI Admit Card 2026 – Download Office Attendant Call Letter



The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has officially released the RBI Office Attendant Admit Card 2026 for the upcoming online examination. Candidates who have successfully applied for the Office Attendant recruitment can now download their call letter from the official RBI portal.
