About Assam CEE 2026

The Combined Entrance Examination (CEE) is a state-level entrance test conducted by ASTU for admission into various engineering colleges in Assam. Citizenship

The candidate must be an Indian citizen.

Domicile

The applicant must be a permanent resident of Assam and possess a valid Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC). Children of Central Government employees posted in Assam may apply under the CGE quota.

Candidates must have passed or be appearing in the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

Age Limit

There is no age limit for appearing in the NEST 2026 examination.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have passed Class XII from any recognised board in India in 2024 or 2025 or should be appearing in 2026.
Candidates must have studied at least three subjects among Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics in Classes XI and XII.

Minimum Marks

General/OBC: Minimum 60% aggregate in Class XII.
SC/ST/PwD: Minimum 55% aggregate in Class XII.
