Eligibility Criteria


To register with the Employment Exchange in Assam, applicants must:

  • Be Indian citizens above 14 years of age.

  • Be permanent residents of Assam.

  • Register in only one Employment Exchange within their district of residence.

  • If already employed and seeking better opportunities, provide a "No Objection Certificate" (NOC) from the current employer.

Registration Process


Option 1: Aadhaar-Based Online Registration (Recommended)


  1. Visit the Sewa Setu Portal.

  2. Choose "Apply with Aadhaar."

  3. Fill in the required details and upload scanned copies of the necessary documents.

  4. Submit the application.

  5. Upon successful submission, an Employment Exchange Card (X-10) will be sent to your registered email.


Option 2: Non-Aadhaar Based Registration


Applicable for candidates whose Aadhaar cards are blocked due to NRC-related issues.Sewa Setu

  1. Visit the nearest Employment Exchange office.

  2. Collect and fill out the registration form.

  3. Submit the form along with original and photocopies of the required documents.

  4. After verification, the Employment Exchange Card will be issued.


Renewal of Registration


  • Registrants must renew their registration every three years in the due month indicated on their Registration Card.

  • A grace period of three months is provided. Failure to renew within this period will lead to cancellation of the registration.

  • No requests for renewal will be entertained after the expiry of the due month and grace period.

Assam HS Result 2026: The Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB), Division - II (formerly known as AHSEC) has successfully conducted the Higher Secondary (HS) Final Examination 2026. Students who appeared in the Class 12 board exams can check their results online from 28th April 2026.

The Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB), Division - I has officially released the HSLC Recheck Form 2026 after declaring the HSLC Result 2026. Students who are not satisfied with their marks can now apply online for answer script rechecking through the official portal.

The HSLC Examination 2026 was conducted from 10th February to 27th February 2026, and the result was declared on 10th April 2026. Eligible candidates can apply for rechecking starting from 13th April 2026.
