SSUHS BSc Nursing Admission 2026: Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences (SSUHS) has announced the Common Entrance Examination (CEE) 2026 for admission into the B.Sc Nursing course in Government and Private Nursing Institutes of Assam for the academic session 2026. Candidates who wish to pursue nursing courses in Assam can apply online through the official SSUHS portal.
The entrance examination will be conducted on 7th June 2026 at various exam centres across Assam and several North-Eastern states. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their online applications until 30th April 2026.
Besides B.Sc Nursing admission, the same CEE score will also be used for admission into D.Pharm, B.Pharm and Allied & Healthcare (B.Sc Medical Technology) courses in Government and Private institutes of Assam.

Eligibility Criteria
Citizenship
The applicant must be a citizen of India.
Residentship
Candidates applying for Government Nursing Institutes of Assam must possess a Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) of Assam.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 17 years as on 31 December 2026
- Maximum Age: 35 years
Gender Eligibility
Male candidates are not eligible for admission in Government Nursing Institutes of Assam. However, private institutes may allow male candidates.
Medical Fitness
Candidates must be medically fit to pursue the nursing course.
Educational Qualification
- Applicants must have passed 10+2 (Higher Secondary) with Science stream.
- Candidates must secure at least 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology combined.
- English must be a compulsory subject in Class 12.
- Students from State Open School or NIOS with Science subjects and English are also eligible.
Application Fee
The entrance examination fee must be paid through online payment gateway available on the SSUHS website.

- Candidates belonging to PwD category (40% disability and above) are exempted from the examination fee.
