Assam LRA Vacancy Details
Post Name: Land Records Assistant (LRA)
Total Posts: 552 Posts
The reservation of posts for various categories will be applicable as per the existing Government rules. Detailed category-wise vacancies will be published before the examination.
Pay Scale
Selected candidates will receive a salary under PB-2 Pay Band:
- ₹14,000 – ₹70,000
- Grade Pay: ₹6,200
- Plus other allowances as per government rules
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 21 Years
- Maximum Age: 40 Years
- Age will be calculated as on 01 January 2025.
- Age relaxation for reserved categories will be applicable as per Government norms.
The age of the candidate will be determined based on the date of birth mentioned in the HSLC / Class 10 Admit Card or Certificate.
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have passed HSLC or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
- Candidates must have completed Recorder Certificate Class Course (RCCC) training from the Assam Survey & Settlement Training Centre, Dakhingaon.
- Applicants must have knowledge of Computer and Information Technology.
- Minimum 30 words per minute typing speed in Assamese or Bengali is required.

Selection Process
The selection process for Land Records Assistant posts will consist of the following stages:

Written Examination
The written exam will be conducted in MCQ format with a total of 80 marks. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
