Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for CTET 2026 are prescribed by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Candidates can check details on ncte.gov.in.

For Classes I–V (Primary Stage)

Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed/appearing in final year of 2-year D.El.Ed.
OR Senior Secondary with 45% marks and passed/appearing in final year of 2-year D.El.Ed (as per NCTE 2002 norms).
OR Senior Secondary with 50% marks and passed/appearing in final year of 4-year B.El.Ed.
OR Graduation with 50% marks and B.Ed.
Note: Candidates with B.Ed must complete a 6-month Bridge Course in Elementary Education after appointment.

For Classes VI–VIII (Elementary Stage)

Graduation and passed/appearing in final year of 2-year D.El.Ed.

RRB ALP Recruitment 2026: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), under the Ministry of Railways, Government of India, has released the official notification of CEN No. 01/2026 for the recruitment of 11,127 Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) posts across various RRBs in India.
