Applicants are invited for the posts of Lab Technician/ Lab Attendant purely on temporary basis through WALK-IN-INTERVIEW for the DBT Project entitled “Comprehensive approach on NTM Species Identification, drug susceptibility testing methods, and strengthening NE State laboratories”
under Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology (NE 2018) Govt. of India, in the Department of Microbiology, Gauhati Medical College, Guwahati-32 (Assam). Candidates are requested to read the official notification & confirm their eligibility before apply.

Vacancy details 

1. Lab Technician
No of posts: 1

Essential Qualification:

1. B.Sc MLT with two years of experience in Microbiology division of Clinical Laboratory.
2. Must be able to work with automated systems such as Bactec, Vitek, Real-time PCR, etc.

Desirable:

1. Experience of working in Molecular Biology Laboratory.
2. Good Knowledge of computers (PGDCA)

2. Lab Attendant
No of posts: 2

Essential Qualification:

• 12th Passed in Science Stream from a recognized Institute.
• Experience of working in Hospital Laboratory (2 Years).
• Good Knowledge of computers (PGDCA)

Candidates with computer knowledge will be given preference.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
