RRB ALP Recruitment 2026: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), under the Ministry of Railways, Government of India, has released the official notification of CEN No. 01/2026 for the recruitment of 11,127 Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) posts across various RRBs in India.
The online application process will begin on 15th May 2026 and will continue till 14th June 2026. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official RRB portal.
Candidates can choose only one RRB and indicate their preference for Railway Zones notified under that selected RRB.

Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 30 Years
- Age will be calculated as on 1st July 2026.

Educational Qualification
Candidates must have any one of the following qualifications:
- Matriculation/SSLC plus ITI from NCVT/SCVT recognized institutions in relevant trades.
- Matriculation/SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in relevant trades.
- Matriculation/SSLC plus 3-year Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Automobile Engineering.
- Engineering Degree in the above disciplines is also acceptable in lieu of Diploma.
Note: Candidates awaiting final results are not eligible to apply.

- Final merit will be prepared with 70% weightage of CBT-2 Part-A and 30% weightage of CBAT.
