Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have passed or appeared in the 12th standard examination.
- For Air Force, Navy and Naval Academy wings, candidates must have studied Physics and Mathematics in Class 12.
- For Army Wing, candidates from any stream can apply.
UPSC NDA II 2026 Exam Pattern
The selection process consists of a written examination followed by the SSB Interview.

There is a negative marking of 0.33 marks for every incorrect answer in the objective-type papers. Question papers for Mathematics and Part-B of GAT will be available in both English and Hindi.
UPSC NDA II 2026 Selection Process
The selection process includes the following stages:

The SSB Interview is conducted in two stages. Stage-I includes the Officer Intelligence Rating Test and Picture Perception & Description Test. Candidates qualifying Stage-I proceed to Stage-II, which includes psychological tests, group tasks, interviews and conference rounds.
Candidates applying for the Air Force flying branch must also qualify the Computerised Pilot Selection System (CPSS).
