Objectives of CM’s Jibon Prerana Scheme
The Chief Minister’s Jibon Prerana Scheme has been launched with the following key objectives:

During the launch, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said, “Since I became the Chief Minister, I have focused on addressing the problems faced by our youth. This scheme will ensure that financial issues do not stop our graduates from chasing their dreams.”

Eligibility Criteria for CM’s Jibon Prerana Scheme
- Residence: Applicant must be a permanent resident of Assam.
- Educational Qualification: Only fresh graduates (2025 pass-outs) from government or public institutions situated in Assam are eligible. Students from open universities or private institutions are not eligible.
- Employment Status: Applicant must be currently unemployed.
Exclusions:
The following candidates are not eligible to apply:
- Children of government employees (except Class IV employees).
- Children of ministers and MLAs.
- Children of government-registered contractors.
- Children of parents with annual income exceeding ₹10 lakh.
