Eligibility Criteria for DHE Combined Merit Scholarship
Domicile
The applicant must be a male student and a permanent resident of Assam.
Course Eligibility
Students must be pursuing:
- 1st Semester UG Degree (Arts/Science/Commerce) OR
- 1st Semester PG Degree (Arts/Science/Commerce)
in any Government/Provincialised College or State/Central University of Assam for the session 2024-25.
Minimum Academic Marks
- UG Scholarship: Minimum 60% marks in Higher Secondary (HS Final).
- PG Scholarship: Minimum 60% marks in Graduation.
Bank Account
Applicants must have an active personal bank account (preferably SBI) with correct details such as Account Number, Branch, and IFSC.

Selection will be strictly based on merit and limited as per budget allocation.
How to Apply for DHE Combined Merit Scholarship 2025?
Interested and eligible candidates must submit their application online. Follow the steps below:

- Click on the Online Application Form.
- Register by providing the required details.
- Log in using the created User ID and Password.
- Fill in your personal and academic information.
- Upload the required documents.
- Submit the form and take a printout of the acknowledgment.
- Submit the printed copy along with documents to the Registrar/Principal/Head of Institution for verification.
After verification, the institutions will forward the valid applications to the Directorate of Higher Education, Assam.
